ORDERS
Thank you for your support of our small farm - we want you to be happy with your purchase! Please examine your tubers immediately upon arrival. Contact us at info@backyard-blooms.com within 7 days of arrival for any concerns so that we can make it right. After 7 days, customers assumes responsibility for stock.
If you make multiple purchase, we are able to combine shipping. Please contact us (info@backyard-blooms.com) with the multiple order numbers and we can adjust shipping accordingly.
All orders placed are final - we do not offer cancellations. If for any reason something happens during storage and shipping, we will refund your order.
SHIPPING
Dahlia tubers will begin shipping in April. Because Dahlia tubers can freeze and be ruined, tubers will ship when your and my weather allow them to be shipped safely. We are located in southeast Wiscosin. We will start with the higher growing zones and work our way down accordingly.
Orders are shipped using USPS flat rate priority mail. Once your shipping label has been created, you will receive an email with tracking information.
We do not ship internationally.
LOCAL PICK-UP
For those that can pick-up their tubers in Slinger, Wisconsin, please choose ‘Farm pickup’ at checkout. There is no charge. Tubers will be able to be picked up in May - an informational email will be sent well in advance with pick up days and times.
DAHLIAS
Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for improper storage, growing conditions, weather, pests, or negligence. Much of Dahlia’s success or lack thereof is related to growing conditions.
We use best practices for virus prevention - sterilizing snips between cutting flowers and diving tubers and culling suspicious plants. If a plant shows signs of virus during the growing season, there is no way to tell where it has acquired the virus. You’re welcome to contact us and share that information with us so we can cross check anything on our end.
